The Kostopil community said farewell to its defender Volodymyr Kozachok on November 28.

Volodymyr was mobilized in August 2025, where he underwent training as a drone operator. He participated in combat operations on the Donetsk front.
He had been carrying out assignments on the front since October 23. Unfortunately, on November 9, while performing a combat mission near the village of Novoselivka in the Kramatorsk district of Donetsk region, Volodymyr Kozachok was killed.
The farewell ceremony for the hero took place at the Church of Peter and Paul, after which the community gathered at T.H. Shevchenko Square to honor the memory of the fallen soldier. Volodymyr Kozachok found his final resting place at the “New” cemetery in Kostopil.
