A 43-year-old resident of Rivne reported to the police that on September 21, around 6 PM, his acquaintance asked to borrow his mobile phone supposedly for an urgent call.

However, as soon as the smartphone was in his hands, the man discreetly vanished with it.
Police operatives located the suspect within a few hours on one of the streets of Rivne. However, the 27-year-old offender had already managed to pawn the stolen phone.
The investigator has initiated a pre-trial investigation.
