Roman Kondratiuk is a symbol of quiet strength, dedication, and true love for his homeland. He was born in Peresopnytsia and studied in Rivne at School No. 6. After completing his mandatory military service, he worked in law enforcement but later decided to become a defender by signing a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

With the onset of the full-scale invasion by Russia, Roman did not look for reasons to delay his service. Even while on medical leave, he returned to the military, as he considered it his duty. Since June 2022, he had been defending Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

Diligently fulfilling his duty and protecting the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, Roman was killed in February 2024.
