Military law enforcement officers, together with National Police personnel, conducted a check of the vehicle driven by the serviceman as part of patrol service activities.

During the document check, clear signs of drug intoxication were found in the driver. It was additionally established that in July 2025, he committed a service offense during a combat training course.
During the inspection of the vehicle’s trunk, firearms and ammunition were discovered.
From the serviceman’s personal belongings, polyethylene packages containing a white crystalline substance and a plant substance, which may be narcotic drugs, as well as devices for their use, were seized.
After investigative actions were conducted, the serviceman was detained and handed over to representatives of the Rivne Military Investigative Department.
Information regarding the offenses has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Part 1 of Article 263 and Part 1 of Article 309 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
