In the handbag of the 26-year-old citizen, inspectors found a glass pipe containing a brown substance and four transparent bags with a white crystalline substance that resembles drugs.
Given that the incident showed signs of a criminal offense, the patrol officers called in investigators for a detailed inquiry.
The investigators opened a criminal proceeding under Part 1 of Article 309 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which prescribes punishment for the illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, or transfer of narcotic substances without the intent to sell.
