Doctors emphasized that the timely actions of the police officer were crucial for saving the woman’s life: due to a ruptured vessel, blood could have entered her brain, and time was of the essence in such a situation.

The incident occurred at Kolodensky Lyceum, where the teacher suddenly began to bleed from her nose during a break. This was noticed by Marina Shchihlevska, who immediately sprang into action.

A sphygmomanometer revealed that the woman had critically high blood pressure, but she assured that her condition would improve after taking medication. Despite this, the police officer still called for an ambulance, as the teacher’s condition remained dangerous.

Until the medics arrived, the senior lieutenant helped to rinse the teacher’s nose and monitored her condition, as her blood pressure did not decrease.

The woman was hospitalized, and she is currently under medical supervision. Fortunately, the threat to her life has passed.

In gratitude for her professional and decisive actions, the teacher expressed her thanks to Marina Shchihlevska by calling the emergency line 102.

“My duty at the lyceum is not only to maintain order but also to always be ready to help. A person’s life is the highest value, so in a critical moment, you don’t think, you just act, using all the skills you’ve acquired,” says the police officer.
