In the Rivne region, police detained a man who first committed domestic violence and then got behind the wheel while intoxicated.

Yesterday, Dubno law enforcement received a call about a case of domestic violence. At the scene, a woman reported that her partner, returning home under the influence, began verbally abusing and threatening her with physical harm in the presence of a child.
The 42-year-old aggressor was issued protocols under parts 1 and 2 of Article 173-2 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (committing domestic violence), and an urgent restraining order was issued for 10 days.
This year, Dubno patrol officers have already issued 705 protocols for cases of domestic violence.
Two hours after the call, law enforcement detained the same man behind the wheel of a Geely car in the village of Berehy. He showed signs of intoxication but refused to undergo a breathalyzer test.
Administrative materials were drawn up against the driver under Article 130 (driving under the influence) and part 3 of Article 126 (driver restricted in the right to drive) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
