The author of the publication is the renowned folk art master, writer, and journalist Olena Medvedieva, who is also the founder of the brand “Creative Book.” The book titled “Encyclopedia of Rivne Region” is dedicated to Rivne, its rich history, cultural heritage, traditions, and outstanding personalities that shape the face of this region. The translation into English was done by English teacher Anastasia Medvedieva.

The main goal of creating this publication is to promote the Rivne region on an international level, making it more recognizable and accessible to foreign audiences.
During the presentation, the author shared the story of writing the book, discussed the peculiarities of working on the project, and interesting facts included in the encyclopedia. Special attention was given to the possibilities of using the book in the educational process, particularly during lessons in schools. 35 copies were presented to English teachers of lyceums and gymnasiums in Rivne.
“We sincerely thank Olena Medvedieva for her diligent work and for promoting the unique heritage of Rivne both in Ukraine and beyond. It was an honor for me to financially support this initiative,” noted the secretary of the Rivne City Council Viktor Shakiryanz.
