A new case of rabies has been recorded in the Rivne region, where a stray puppy approximately 1.5-2 months old bit four people. All the victims received the necessary medical preventive immunization with rabies vaccines.
According to preliminary data, the animal likely had contact with wild animals, which are currently actively present in the vicinity of populated areas.
Currently, measures are being taken in the region to localize and eliminate the rabies outbreak among animals to prevent further illness in humans.
