Rescuers in Rivne Region Addressed the Aftermath of Severe Weather in One Day

Addressing the Aftermath of Severe Weather

Over the course of one day, the units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Rivne Region responded 11 times to address the consequences of adverse weather conditions.

Strong gusts of wind led to fallen trees on roadways and damage to building structures. Rescuers are working in an enhanced mode to quickly restore safe conditions for the population.

As of 6:00 PM, there had been 8 responses to remove obstacles to traffic, as well as cutting and clearing fallen trees that blocked vehicular movement.

Additionally, 3 responses were directed at dismantling hazardous structures. Rescuers carried out work to remove roofing elements that became dangerous for pedestrians due to the wind gusts.

To assist the population, 11 units of special equipment from the State Emergency Service and 46 rescuers were involved.

Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries reported as a result of the severe weather.
