220 Firearms Registered in Rivne Region
According to the head of the firearms circulation control sector of the Rivne District Police Department Andriy Hlavatskyi, over the past year, 210 individuals officially registered 220 firearms. The legalization of firearms has become available to individuals who are 21 years of age or older.

– If a person finds a firearm on the street, they have the right to report it to any district police department within 24 hours for declaration. This allows them to avoid criminal liability. Police will first check whether the firearm is lost or stolen. If there are no legal restrictions, the individual must submit an application, provide their identification code, a passport confirming their place of residence, and a photo measuring 3.5 by 4.5 cm. The declaration process takes only ten minutes.
