This is reported by Rivne24

After completing his studies, he worked as a lathe operator at a tractor factory in Gorodok. In September 2024, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“For three months, he underwent training, getting used to military life – as Roman had not served in the conscription army. In brief phone calls, he always assured us that he was doing well. Although he was somewhat reserved, he remained kind and sincere, always ready to help others. Even before the war, he shared his salary with those in need, willing to give away his last piece of bread,” said the mother of the fallen defender.

Unfortunately, 42-year-old soldier Roman Rudyuk was killed on December 27, 2024, while performing a combat mission in the Donetsk region. He was considered missing for nearly a year, and only recently did DNA testing confirm his death.

Only his parents remain, mourning their son.

The farewell to Roman Rudyuk will take place on Tuesday, November 25, at 10:00 AM in Independence Square in Rivne. The serviceman will be buried at the Alley of Heroes in the ‘Nove’ cemetery in the regional center.
