Viktor Syvrydiuk, born on October 24, 1985, in Rivne, left a deep mark in the hearts of many. He studied at School No. 25 and later continued his education at a textile technical school. After his compulsory military service, Viktor gained knowledge at the “Police School” and worked in a security firm as well as in metallurgy.

Viktor was a true patriot who always demonstrated an active civic stance. Even during his student years, he visited Maidan in Kyiv, and with the onset of the full-scale invasion by Russia, he was ready to defend his homeland. In July of this year, he was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In civilian life, he was passionate about sports and various martial arts. His family remembers Viktor as a kind and sincere person, always ready to lend a helping hand.
Unfortunately, 39-year-old Viktor Syvrydiuk died from injuries sustained while carrying out a combat mission in Sumy Oblast on September 22, 2025.
Viktor is survived by his parents, brother, and daughter. The farewell to the soldier will take place tomorrow, October 8, at 10:00 AM in Independence Square in Rivne. Viktor Syvrydiuk will be buried at the cemetery in the village of Holovnytsia, located in the former Korets district.
