In September 2025, Volodymyr was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he served in wartime conditions. As the Defender’s brother recounts, “He rarely spoke about his service, adapted to the new environment and military routine. He was a kind-hearted person who knew how to connect with everyone. He always supported his family and friends, even when it was difficult for him.” Volodymyr always sought something new and disliked staying in one place.

Unfortunately, the 40-year-old soldier was killed on April 16, 2026, while performing a combat mission in Donetsk region. He is survived by his mother and brother, who are mourning a heavy loss.

The farewell to Volodymyr Biulya will take place on Friday, April 24, at 10:00 AM in Independence Square in Rivne. A memorial service will be held at the Holy Protection Cathedral. The serviceman will be buried at the Heroes’ Alley of the “Nove” cemetery in the regional center.
