Yesterday, around 12 PM, on Soborna Street, patrol officers stopped an Opel car whose driver grossly violated traffic rules by overtaking at a pedestrian crossing.

During the document check, the inspectors noticed signs of alcohol intoxication in the 54-year-old driver. The police offered him to undergo a sobriety test, to which the man agreed.
The results of the examination revealed 3.07 promille in his blood, which is more than 15 times the permissible limit.
The patrol officers compiled administrative materials against the driver under several articles:
- under part 1 of article 130 (Driving under the influence) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses;
- under part 5 of article 126 (Repeated driving by a person deprived of such a right) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses;
- under part 2 of article 122 (Violation of overtaking rules) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
