Rivne expands free transportation for orphaned children and foster care children

The Executive Committee of the Rivne City Council adopted a decision on March 23, 2026, No. 166, which expands the list of categories of citizens entitled to free public transportation.

The new categories that have been granted the right to free transportation include children who are:

  • orphans;
  • children in foster families, adoptive families, and family-type children’s homes operating in the Rivne City Territorial Community.

According to the adopted decision, these children can use free public transportation regardless of their place of registration.

The issuance of transportation cards for free travel is organized by the Department of Social and Veteran Policy.
