A meeting organized by the Center for the Search of Persons Missing Under Special Circumstances was held in Rivne in collaboration with the Regional Group, where issues concerning the families of defenders were discussed.

The event, which took place on April 29, gathered about a hundred people who have loved ones missing.
At the meeting, relatives received answers to their questions from representatives of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights in the Rivne region, as well as from the Commissioner for Missing Persons of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the region. Representatives of the Rivne Regional Military Administration, the Operational Command “West”, local self-government, the investigative department, and the territorial recruitment center also participated.
Participants of the event received consultations on a number of important topics, including:
- the legal status of missing military personnel;
- the specifics of pre-trial investigations and confirmation of captivity;
- the repatriation of the bodies of the deceased and conducting DNA examinations;
- social guarantees, including pension payments, as well as legal assistance in document processing.
