The main theme of the forum was cohesion and resilience as key factors for the future of Europe.
“A closed strategic discussion took place within the forum with the participation of ambassadors from partner countries, representatives of the government, parliament, and communities. Participants discussed issues of strengthening resilience, social cohesion, and coordinating international support. During the event, memorandums were signed, a ceremonial award presentation for communities took place, and networking occurred,” said Viktor Shakiryzan, Secretary of the Rivne City Council.
The Rivne community received an honorary award from the Ministry, the “Symbol of Energy Decentralization 2025,” for the resilience of critical infrastructure and ensuring uninterrupted functioning in the face of modern challenges.
The community is actively implementing energy-efficient solutions and continues to work on strengthening energy independence, which is already yielding positive results for ensuring the comfort and safety of residents.
“We sincerely thank the organizers of the event for the high level of the forum. Special thanks to the Prime Minister of Ukraine for supporting communities and promoting resilience development, which helps Ukrainian cities overcome modern challenges,” added Viktor Shakiryzan.
