After completing his studies, Andriy worked in various fields, including at a car wash, in a dry cleaner, and in furniture production. Following the start of the full-scale invasion, he moved from Kharkiv region to Rivne, where he joined the “Life” church. In January 2026, Andriy was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The defender’s relatives recall: “Andriy helped the military a lot, lived in the hospital for a long time, where his task was to transport the wounded and care for them. He loved being helpful and never missed an opportunity to serve. Although Andriy planned a lot and thought about the future, he knew how to live in the moment. He often said that one should appreciate what they have, and God would take care of the next day. His death was a great loss for all of us, but his life is certainly a treasure for everyone who knew him.”
Unfortunately, the 33-year-old soldier was killed on April 17, 2026, while performing a combat mission in Sumy region.
Andriy is survived by his wife, a two-month-old daughter, parents, and two sisters. The farewell will take place on Saturday, April 25, at 10:00 AM in Independence Square in Rivne. The serviceman will be buried at the Heroes’ Alley of the “Nove” cemetery in the regional center.
