In Rivne, a farewell will be held for 45-year-old Maksym Luhinin, who died on November 16, 2025, while performing a combat mission in the Kharkiv region.

Maksym Luhinin was born on March 20, 1980, in Melitopol, Zaporizhia region. After finishing school, he studied at a railway technical college. In 2010, he got married and moved to Rivne, where he worked in furniture manufacturing. In June 2025, he was mobilized into the military.
His wife recalls that Maksym was a true patriot who always put service first. Family and friends remember him as a kind and caring person, always ready to help. In his free time, he enjoyed furniture making, computer repairs, and cycling.
The farewell will take place on Friday, December 5, at 10:00 AM in Independence Square in Rivne. A memorial service will be held at the Church of All Volyn Saints, and Maksym will be buried at the Heroes’ Alley in the “Nove” cemetery in the regional center.
The deceased is survived by his wife and daughter.
