On February 23, at approximately 8:10 PM, in a minibus operating on route No. 38a, a minor girl attempted to exit the vehicle at the stop near the medical college.

She has a student ID and is entitled to a discounted fare on public transport.

As the girl was leaving the minibus, she handed the driver 9 hryvnias—the fare according to her student ticket. However, the driver refused to let her out, closed the doors, and demanded full payment of 18 hryvnias.

The child explained that she did not have any more money, but the driver continued to react aggressively, raising his voice and using foul language. He also insisted that the girl call her parents to send additional funds.

Only after another passenger intervened on the girl’s behalf and paid an additional 9 hryvnias did the driver open the doors and allow her to exit.
