Matches of the first stage of the women’s Ukrainian Cup took place in Rivne and Kyiv, where Superleague teams showcased their high level of play against representatives of the Higher League.

In the first match, Rivne-OSDUSSHOR suffered a defeat against Budivelnyk with a score of 25:96. The most significant moment of the game was the first quarter, where the Kyiv team gained an advantage, winning it 38:3. The result was also affected by the quick injury of Viktoriya Shmatova, who was only able to spend 3 minutes on the court.
