A farewell ceremony was held in the Rivne region for the fallen defenders of Ukraine β Vitaliy Ostrovets from the Sarny district and Maksym Zvarych from the Kostopil community. Vitaliy Ostrovets was born in 1987 in the village of Selets in the Dubrovitsa community. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he stood up to defend Ukraine, serving as a sailor and fulfilling the duties of a master of the strike unmanned aerial systems division.

Unfortunately, in September 2025, Vitaliy was killed while carrying out a combat mission in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In the memory of his loved ones and comrades, he will remain a hero who gave his life for the freedom and independence of his homeland. The farewell was held with all honors, as patriots like Vitaliy deserve eternal remembrance and respect.
