Hundreds of residents of Dubno gathered in the central square of the city to honor the memory of the young Hero, Senior Soldier Volodymyr Hoinyk. He died on January 26, 2026, in battle for Ukraine, its freedom, and independence, near the settlement of Orikhiv in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Volodymyr served as a drone operator in the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade “Velykyi Luh”.
After the farewell ceremony, the mourning procession proceeded along the central street of the city to the St. Ilya Cathedral, where the funeral service took place.
The people of Dubno bid farewell to their Defender, bowing their heads in respect and sorrow, and kneeling. The fallen warrior was buried in the Alley of Glory.
