The air raid alert in the region began at 19:49 and lasted until 22:51.
Around 20:15, the alert spread to the Kovel district. The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Air Force warned of the movement of an enemy drone heading past Kovel towards Turiyisk.
At 20:49, residents of the region heard explosions, as reported by local Telegram channels. Shortly after this, the threat alert was lifted in some areas; however, the general air raid alert in the region continued for several more hours.
The Volyn Regional Military Administration confirmed that a strike had hit an infrastructure facility.
“Russia continues to terrorize Ukrainians. During the air raid alert, the enemy attacked a critical infrastructure facility in our region. Fortunately, there are no casualties or fatalities,” the OVA reported.
Currently, relevant services are working at the scene to address the consequences of the attack. Residents of the region are once again urged not to ignore air raid signals and to remain in shelters until they receive an all-clear signal.
