In accordance with a court ruling, a land plot of 1.5 hectares has been returned to the communal ownership of the Sarny territorial community.

In 2022, the city council sold 1.7 hectares of land to a private enterprise on a non-competitive basis, as there are real estate objects of the company located on this plot.
However, almost immediately after the agreement, the enterprise divided the disputed plot, part of which was transferred to a third party.
The portion of land remaining in the enterprise’s ownership exceeds the area of the property located on it by 13 times.
This indicates that the sale of the land plot occurred without compliance with the requirements of land legislation.
The court deemed the agreement illegal, annulled the city council’s decision, and declared the purchase and sale contract void, returning the land to the community’s ownership.
