The U.S. Has Simplified Negotiations with Russia to Two Key Issues
U.S. Vice President JD Vance stated in an interview with One America News that the U.S. has narrowed the discussion of peace negotiations with Russia to two main points: territorial demands and security guarantees for Ukraine.

“It was important for us to narrow the discussion about peace to two main points. The first is territory. Russia wants approximately 6,000 km² that it has not yet acquired through military means. The second is security guarantees for Ukraine, from Europe or elsewhere. We did this so that the Russians do not come back after some time with new demands,” Vance noted.
According to the Vice President, negotiations between Ukraine and Russia may take place when both sides grow weary of the war.
“I am convinced that a peace agreement will happen. The question is whether the war will last another year, or a month, or whether another 100,000, or perhaps 1 million people will die. We are telling both sides: this is not in their interests,” he added.
