In Rivne Region, farewell was said to five soldiers who gave their lives for Ukraine: Ivan Levchishin, Ivan Semenyuk, Dmytro Lyukov, Volodymyr Melnychuk, and Pavlo Herasymchuk.

Ivan Levchishin, a native of the village of Buhryn, was born on October 8, 1981. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 13, 2022. Unfortunately, on January 21, 2026, the serviceman died in a hospital in Kharkiv from severe injuries sustained during battles near Kupiansk.
Ivan Semenyuk, originally from the village of Bychal in the Rivne district, was born on May 21, 1997. In May 2024, he began his service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and was killed on January 20, 2026, while carrying out a combat mission in the Kharkiv region.
Dmytro Lyukov, a native of the village of Pryvilne, was born on August 22, 1999. In 2022, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine and served as a UAV operator. Dmytro went through Bakhmut, Kharkiv, and Pokrovsk directions, but unfortunately, his life was cut short on January 21, 2026, in a hospital in Dnipro from severe injuries sustained while defending his homeland.
Volodymyr Melnychuk, born on July 27, 1985, and residing in the village of Sestriatyn in the Radiviliv community, was a senior gunner of a mortar crew. He had been considered missing since May 2025, but unfortunately, his death was confirmed. Volodymyr was killed on May 15, 2025, while performing a combat mission in the Pokrovsk direction.
Pavlo Herasymchuk, born on August 8, 1989, served his military duty in the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a rifleman-sanitizer. Unfortunately, on June 11, 2025, while carrying out a combat mission in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region, Pavlo was killed.
