In Rivne Region, the Memory of Five Fallen Soldiers is Honored

Five soldiers who gave their lives for the independence of Ukraine were solemnly laid to rest in Rivne Region. Among them were Volodymyr Bilozub, Oleksiy Karasiov, Serhiy Nechyporenko, Vladyslav Polyukh, and Vitaliy Martyshchuk.

Volodymyr Bilozub, born in 1990, lived in the village of Savchuky in the Kozyntsi community. As part of the military forces, he served as a shooter and anti-aircraft gunner in the anti-aircraft missile unit. Unfortunately, his life was cut short on October 12, 2025, due to a serious illness in a Kyiv hospital. The true hero was buried on October 21 in the village of Babaykivka, in Dnipropetrovsk region, near his mother’s residence.

Oleksiy Karasiov, born on March 2, 1988, in Rivne, attended school No. 23. After graduating from school, he served in the army, where he gained experience as a senior scout. In November 2024, Oleksiy joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but he was killed in combat with the occupiers in Donetsk region on October 6, 2025. He was buried at the Alley of Heroes in the city of Rivne.

Serhiy Nechyporenko, born in 1977, lived in the village of Bohushi in the Berezno community. As a senior soldier, he defended Ukraine from the first days of the full-scale aggression. Unfortunately, he passed away on October 19, 2025, and was buried in the local cemetery.

Vladyslav Polyukh was born on October 25, 2003, in the Holovyn community. After studying at a military school, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine on July 16, 2021. Unfortunately, he was killed in Kharkiv region on October 14, 2025, while carrying out a combat mission. He was buried in the local cemetery.

Vitaliy Martyshchuk, born in 1980, was a soldier and sniper in the 4th Air Assault Company. He enlisted in military service on May 31, 2023. On May 19, 2024, while performing duties in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region, Vitaliy was killed. He was buried in the village of Berestovets.
