A tragic message has arrived in Varash: on October 20, Dmytro Vasylovych Tkach passed away at his permanent deployment point in Cherkasy.

Dmytro Tkach was born and raised in the city of Varash, where he studied at Varash Lyceum No. 1.
He was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 9, 2022. He served in military unit A4787, fulfilling the duties of a laborer in the engineering company. Early in his service, he sustained a serious injury, but after rehabilitation, he returned to the military to continue defending his homeland.
