In Rivne Region, a farewell was held for six heroes who died defending Ukraine. The ceremony was attended by relatives, friends, and servicemen who paid tribute to the fallen.

Stories of the Heroes
Dmytro Symonchuk was born on November 8, 1996. He served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a machine gunner in the infantry unit. He was awarded the badge “Veteran of War” and the medal “Unbreakable Heroes of the Russo-Ukrainian War.” He died on July 20, 2024, while performing a combat mission in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
Oleksandr Pupko lived in the village of Nemovychi. From 2015 to 2019, he served in the ATO, and since 2023, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the rank of junior lieutenant. Unfortunately, on November 25, 2025, his heart stopped beating.
Ivan Shuprudko, who had the call sign “Shurup,” served as the commander of a combat vehicle. He died on November 27, 2023, in the Zaporizhzhia region, and his death was confirmed after a long period of being missing in action.
Timur Shanava was born on April 29, 1999, in Rivne. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in March 2025 and died on November 12, 2025, while performing a combat mission in Donetsk region.
Yuriy Zvinchuk was born on June 15, 1975. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in December 2024 and died on November 17, 2025, in Chernihiv region.
Volodymyr Hrytsiuk was born on September 2, 1969. He served in the ATO in 2014, for which he received numerous awards. He died on September 26, 2024, while performing a combat mission in Donetsk region.
