In northern Rivne Region, border guards discovered two violators who were trying to illegally cross the border to enter the European Union.

While moving, they got lost in the forest and lost their bearings. In difficult weather conditions, with a temperature of -20°C, the men suffered from severe hypothermia and frostbite.
As they could no longer continue on their own, the border guards had to rescue them from the forest.
The servicemen provided the necessary medical assistance, warmed the violators, and called for an ambulance. Both men were taken to a medical facility. Materials have been prepared regarding the detained individuals for attempting to illegally cross the state border.
The fate of the men will be determined by the court, and the circumstances of the case are being investigated.
