The organizer of a channel for the illegal transportation of individuals across the state border has been uncovered in the Rivne region.

A joint operation by operatives from the 7th Border Guard Detachment of the Carpathian Region, the 9th Border Detachment named after the Sich Riflemen, the Strategic Investigations Department of the National Police in Rivne Region, and investigators from the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine yielded results – the organizer of the criminal scheme for the illegal transportation of citizens outside Ukraine was identified.
The perpetrator turned out to be a 38-year-old resident of Rivne Region. Through Telegram channels, he offered services for illegal exit abroad. The “package service” included a meeting, temporary accommodation in a border settlement, transfer to the border, and instructions for the further route. The cost of such “services” ranged from 8,000 to 11,000 US dollars per person.
The organizer was caught “in the act” – just one kilometer from the state border, at the moment he was instructing three individuals he intended to illegally transport across the border.
As part of the pre-trial investigation, law enforcement conducted four searches. Physical evidence relevant to the case was seized.
The man has been notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (“Illegal transportation of individuals across the state border of Ukraine”). The court has already chosen a preventive measure for him.
