The accident occurred on September 7, around 10:10 PM on the “Horodyshche-Rivne-Starokostiantyniv” highway near the village of Kustyn.

The investigator established that the 39-year-old driver of the “Range Rover” did not choose a safe speed, failed to consider the road conditions, and collided with concrete blocks placed in a construction zone.

As a result of the accident, two passengers—a 23-year-old and a 17-year-old resident of the regional center—sustained moderate bodily injuries, as confirmed by the examination.

The driver has been notified of the suspicion.

The investigator has completed the pre-trial investigation, and the materials of the criminal proceedings have been sent to court.
