During the investigation, the perpetrator will remain in custody.

Yesterday, March 24, the court granted the investigator’s request and imposed a preventive measure of 60 days of detention without the right to bail on a 32-year-old resident of Varash.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing under part 2 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for intentional severe bodily harm resulting in the victim’s death.
It is worth noting that on March 21, around 11:30 PM, three men left a local café. A 44-year-old acquaintance, who had also been there, approached them. During their conversation, a verbal conflict arose, which escalated into a fight.
During the altercation, the 32-year-old resident of Varash struck one punch to the face, causing the victim to fall. However, the attacker did not stop and hit the victim two more times. Both men were under the influence of alcohol.
