A decision was made in Rivne regarding the reorganization of the ‘Elitar’ lyceum, which was approved by the deputies of the Rivne City Council.

According to this decision, the ‘Elitar’ lyceum will be merged with the ‘Lider’ lyceum.
Currently, there are 285 students studying at the ‘Lider’ lyceum, while the ‘Elitar’ lyceum has 211 students. This indicates that the enrollment of each of them separately does not meet the requirements set for academic lyceums.
After the merger, the new lyceum will be able to accommodate about 720 students (with 8 classes per grade) and implement new educational formats, including group learning, a modular system, and the option to choose subjects for in-depth study.
It is also worth noting that starting from the 2026-2027 academic year, enrollment in the 8th grades of these lyceums will be discontinued, and from September 1, 2027, they will only operate for students in grades 10-12.
