Rivne Theaters Welcomed About 100,000 Spectators Throughout the Year

Statistics on the attendance of regional theaters and the philharmonic in 2025 have been published.

Drama Theater: Over the year, 252 performances took place, attracting nearly 60,000 spectators. The theater’s team brought to life 7 premieres, including “Forest Song,” “For Two Hares,” “Stolen Happiness,” “The Sea of Life. Vanity,” “Moms,” “love is/Любов — це/l’amour est,” and “I Did Not Leave Ukraine.”

The Drama Theater also co-organized the cultural event “Scrooge Fest,” won a regional theater award, and the performance “Moms” went on a tour of cities in Ukraine. In 2025, the tour covered three cities, with plans for about ten more in 2026.

Puppet Theater: In 2025, 410 performances were held, attended by about 24,000 spectators. The theater presented four new premieres: “Three at Fifty” (a performance for the theater’s 50th anniversary), “The Painted Fox,” “Visiting Sun,” and “Princess Dot.” A special event was winning the grand prize at the “GRA” festival-award for the performance “The Boy with a Violin in His Heart.”

Philharmonic: Organized 232 concert and artistic events, gathering over 14,000 spectators and listeners. The Academic Chamber Orchestra of the Rivne Regional Philharmonic celebrated its 50th anniversary.
