In particular, it is planned to limit the use of external lighting for buildings, adjacent areas, parks, outdoor advertising, and other facilities, while ensuring safe conditions for citizens’ movement and road safety.
Priority will be given to the operation of street lighting on major streets, intersections, pedestrian crossings, as well as in the vicinity of healthcare facilities, shelters, and other critical infrastructure sites.
The Department of Infrastructure and Urban Development has been instructed to inform the owners of advertising structures about the need to limit the lighting of outdoor advertising objects.
Heads of enterprises, institutions, and organizations, regardless of ownership form, are recommended to take measures to reduce electricity consumption, particularly by limiting external and decorative lighting during nighttime.
