A 46-year-old resident of the village of Studjanka reported to the emergency line 102 yesterday, September 22, around 6:00 PM, that he discovered his two-wheeled vehicle, a “Suzuki,” was missing from the forested area.

According to the information received, the man had ridden to work that morning. However, his scooter developed a malfunction, so he left it, removing the keys but not locking the handlebars. When he returned, the vehicle was already gone.
The police quickly identified the new “owner”: a 51-year-old villager had stolen the scooter and transported it to his property, where law enforcement found it.
Currently, the issue of notifying the suspect of charges for committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 289 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal acquisition of a vehicle) is being resolved, as well as the selection of a preventive measure for him.
