Law enforcement officials found that on November 10, around noon, a group of young people used a taxi service for a trip from Rivne to the village of Porozove in the Kornińska community. After arriving, the passengers began to leave the vehicle, and the driver asked them to pay for the ride. One of the passengers, a 25-year-old resident of Rivne, refused to do so.

As a result, a conflict arose between the 39-year-old driver and the young man, leading both to draw knives.

The driver used a gas canister against the “client” and then stabbed him in the back with a knife before leaving the scene.

Medics diagnosed the victim with a penetrating chest wound and a liver hematoma.

Law enforcement officials detained the 39-year-old suspect, who has already been charged.

The issue of choosing a preventive measure for the suspect is being resolved.
