Teenager Injured in Rivne Region Due to Use of Gasoline for Heating Stove

An accident occurred at 00:35 in the village of Myrohostya Persha in the Dubno district while lighting a heating stove.

According to preliminary data, a local teenager decided to light the stove using gasoline. As a result of the ignition of the fuel vapors, he sustained thermal burns to his face and neck of degrees I–II.

The injured individual was urgently transported to the Dubno City Hospital for the necessary medical assistance.

Rescuers in the Rivne region once again urge residents of the area:

  • Do not use flammable liquids (gasoline, diesel fuel, alcohol, acetone, etc.) to light stoves, fireplaces, or grills. This can lead to explosions, clothing fires, burns, and even tragic consequences.
