In the Rivne region, the memory of ten soldiers who died on the front lines was honored: Leonid Yarmoshik from the city of Varash, Mykola Mykhailyshyn from Rokytne, Oleg Koval from Derazhne community, Ivan Voyat from Korets region, Volodymyr Tesliuk from Korniń community, Valerii Krasnoshchok from Ostroh region, Mykola Bessarabov, Dmytro Stasiuk, Volodymyr Shoya, and Vitalii Kocherak from Dubno district.

Leonid Yarmoshik was born in the village of Horodets in the Sarny community, where he lived until his family moved to Varash. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine on June 29, 2023, and served as a senior shooter-operator of a mechanized platoon. Since November 10, 2023, he had been considered missing in action in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region, where he bravely defended positions as part of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hero of Ukraine Valerii Hudzi. His death was confirmed by DNA testing results.
Mykola Mykhailyshyn, born in 1972, lived in the town of Rokytne. He served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a shooter in the parachute assault company of the 4th Parachute Assault Battalion. He died on August 29, 2024, while performing a combat mission in Donetsk region, and his family waited over a year for the opportunity to bury him with honor.
Oleg Koval, born on August 12, 1984, lived in the village of Postiynyi in the Derazhne community and joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine on June 4, 2024. He died on July 30, 2024, as a result of a mortar shelling in Donetsk region.
Ivan Voyat, born on June 22, 1968, lived in the village of Richky in the Korets community. He died on February 15, 2025, while performing a combat mission in Donetsk region.
Volodymyr Tesliuk, born on April 22, 1980, in the village of Korniń, joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine on January 10, 2023, with the call sign “Bison.” After training abroad, he served as a machine gunner in the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade in the Donetsk direction. He died on July 21, 2023, while performing a combat mission.
Valerii Krasnoshchok, born on August 21, 1993, in Kharkiv, later moved to the village of Viliia in the Ostroh community. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine on November 24, 2024, and died on November 15, 2025, after sustaining severe injuries during a combat mission. Unfortunately, on December 4, 2025, despite all medical efforts, Valerii passed away from his injuries.
Mykola Bessarabov, born on December 19, 1993, lived in the city of Dubno. He volunteered for the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the beginning of the full-scale war and later became a squad commander, receiving the “Cross of Valor” and the “Golden Cross” awards.
Dmytro Stasiuk, born on October 23, 1997, lived in the village of Zelenyi in the Pryvilne community. He bravely fulfilled his duty to protect Ukraine and was awarded the Minister of Defense of Ukraine’s badge “For Injury.”
Volodymyr Shoya, born on April 20, 2000, lived in the village of Zaruddia in the Myrohoshchanska community. He was honored with several prestigious military awards.
Junior Sergeant Mykola Bessarabov, Senior Soldier Dmytro Stasiuk, and Soldier Volodymyr Shoya died on December 6, 2025, while performing a military task in the area of the village of Husynka in the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region.
Vitalii Kocherak, born on February 19, 1983, lived in the village of Myrohoshcha Druha. He bravely defended his homeland from Russian occupiers, but unfortunately, his life was cut short on December 8, 2025.
