The Rivne region has become the arena for determining the best chess players with hearing impairments in Ukraine, who competed in three disciplines: classical chess, rapid, and blitz. Over two weeks, from March 7 to March 18, competitions were held at the “Invasport” center.

A total of 39 athletes from 12 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv participated in the championships, including winners and medalists of the Deaflympics, as well as world and European championship titles.
Among both women and men, the best players were identified in all categories. The winners and medalists received medals and certificates from the Ukrainian center “Invasport.” Based on the results of these competitions, a national team will be formed to represent Ukraine at international tournaments in 2026.

1st place – Georgiy Metreveli (Dnipropetrovsk region);
2nd place – Vadim Bilyi (Donetsk region);
3rd place – Oleksiy Filippov (Donetsk region).
Among women:
1st place – Aliona Osipova (Kharkiv region);
2nd place – Natalia Myronenko (Poltava region);
3rd place – Alina Lianhuzova (Kyiv city).
