Every day, no later than 7 a.m., Boris the deer is visited by the forester of the Rychytske forestry, Ruslan Khrystiuk. He brings food and treats, spending a lot of time with the animal to maintain calm and contact.

A local veterinarian always accompanies him, administering necessary injections on time.
Boris’s condition has improved; however, the timing of the surgery on his leg remains uncertain, according to specialists. More time is needed for final conclusions and further decisions.
The deer currently does not wish to return closer to the village, where there are many visitors. Right now, he needs peace, quiet, and quality care.
Being in the water does not harm the deer. He is in his natural habitat and does not stay in the water constantly—he chooses dry areas to rest. The wild animal instinctively knows how to take care of itself.
