On March 29, around midnight, a 57-year-old seller from one of the local stores contacted the police. He reported that a customer attempted to purchase alcohol but had neither cash nor funds on his card.

After the seller refused to provide alcohol “on credit,” the customer grabbed a bottle from the shelf and, threatening with a grenade, fled the scene. The amount of damage is approximately 6 thousand hryvnias.

Patrol officers quickly located the perpetrator on one of the city streets. He turned out to be a 27-year-old resident of Dubno, from whom the stolen items were recovered.

The investigator detained the suspect in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and, under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office, informed him of the charges. The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of 60 days.
