The animal currently remains in a stable but critical condition. It is under constant veterinary supervision, receiving necessary medications, offered food, and assisted in finding a position from which it can drink a little water.
Test results revealed liver problems and acute kidney failure. Additionally, maggots were found on the side where the moose had been lying in the swamp for an extended period. The doctors carefully removed the fur from the affected area and are eliminating the parasites to ease its condition.
