The Exhibition ‘Towels of Hope’ Opened at Dubno Castle

A special exhibition dedicated to the memory of Ukrainian defenders has been launched at Dubno Castle.

This is reported by Rivne24

The exhibition ‘Towels of Hope’ consists of embroidered cloths created by mothers, wives, sisters, and other relatives of those who are missing or currently held captive. One of the towels features over 150 names of missing soldiers, including 40 names of residents from Dubno, embroidered by their families directly within the walls of the castle.

The fabric was cut into small pieces so that everyone could leave their mark of hope. All these fragments were later sewn together into one large towel, symbolizing unity and remembrance.

For the first time, the exhibition ‘Towels of Hope’ was presented on the Day of Dignity and Freedom at the Holy Protection Cathedral in Rivne. After that, the exhibition was displayed at the Rivne Regional Museum of Local Lore, and now it has moved to Dubno Castle.

The exhibition brings together unique towels created in various communities of Rivne region, including Rivne, Varash, Sarny, and Volodymyrets.
