On January 7, the Kostopil community said goodbye to Serhiy Sivuk, who gave his life for his homeland.

Serhiy Sivuk was mobilized into the Armed Forces in March 2024 and served in the engineering troops. He last met with his sister, son, and grandson on Christmas. Unfortunately, the 56-year-old serviceman died while performing his duties in Kamianets-Podilskyi.
Serhiy was honored in the Church of St. Peter and Paul, after which the community gathered in Taras Shevchenko Square to pay tribute to the defender’s memory.
The burial took place at the “Nove” cemetery in Kostopil, where he was honored by family, friends, and fellow villagers.
