This weekend, the International Ethnic Festival “LyraFest” will take place in Rivne.

October 4 (Saturday)
- 16:00 – 17:30 – “Music is a Weapon!” Visual performance and concert-meeting with festival participants. Venue: Palace of Children and Youth, 10 Knyaz Volodymyr Street
October 5 (Sunday)
- 10:00 – 12:30 – Kobzar performances and lyre playing near the city temples of the Holy Protection and Holy Resurrection Cathedrals
- 13:00 – 18:00 – “LyraFest” at Ostvytsia:
- Park of Historical Reconstruction “Ostvytsia”, Marusi Churai Street
- Kobzar and Lyre Player Glade 13:00 – 16:30 – “Lyre Player’s Protection”. Performances by lyre players, kobzars, bandurists, and folk groups
- Water Stage 16:30-18:00 – “The Commandments…” Performances by festival participants
- Children’s Glade 14:30 – 15:00 – “The Sparrow Jumps” – workshop for children’s games and fun
- Dance Glade 15:30 – 16:00 – “Dances by the Barn” – workshop on traditional Polissya dances
- Masters’ Glade 13:00 – 17:00 – Workshop on traditional crafts and musical instruments
Visitors to “LyraFest” at Ostvytsia can also enjoy boat rides, archery, demonstrations of ancient crafts, Cossack kulesh, and fragrant herbal tea.
In case of unfavorable weather conditions, the festival will take place at 14:00 in the Rivne City Palace of Children and Youth (10 Knyaz Volodymyr Street).
