The accident occurred on May 4 at around 07:55 in the village of Remel.

According to preliminary investigation data, the driver of the “Mercedes-Benz,” a 27-year-old resident of Rivne, failed to maintain a safe speed, which led to a collision with a concrete support and guardrail.
As a result of the traffic accident, four people were injured.
The driver and a 19-year-old female passenger, a resident of Volyn, were hospitalized with serious injuries. Two other passengers from Rivne are in the hospital: an 18-year-old girl sustained a forearm fracture, a closed head injury, and bruises, while a 29-year-old man suffered multiple injuries and bruises.
The investigator has initiated a pre-trial investigation for violating traffic safety rules under part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As part of the criminal proceedings, the vehicle was seized.
